Andrew Mills
Owner/Inspector

Andrew has been an inspector for 15 years and has co-owned The Mills Team with his wife, Loralee, for the last five years. He has completed over 4,000 inspections during his career. Prior to working as a home inspector, Andrew spent 10 years as a remodel/repair/finish contractor. He has a Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University. Customers appreciate Andrew’s attention to detail and commonsense reporting. He takes pride in customer care and has a broad range of experience which he draws upon to better serve his customers. Outside of work Andrew likes sailing, camping, working in his yard, and spending time with his family.

Loralee Mills
Owner

Loralee is Co-Owner of The Mills Team and spent over 10 years as Office Administrator.  Raised on a family farm in Canada, she developed a strong work ethic and deep appreciation for serving others. Her diverse professional background includes homeschooling, medical transcription, corporate administration, and resort management.

She enjoys camping, reading, and spending time with her children, their spouses, and her 6 of grandchildren.

Jeff Heide
Home Inspector

Jeff has worked for almost 18 years as a home inspector. He has completed over 5,000 whole house inspections while working for The Mills Team. Jeff previously worked as a commercial and residential contractor and brings his construction experience and knowledge to his work as a home inspector. Clients appreciate Jeff’s knowledge and ability to thoroughly and clearly answer their questions. Jeff enjoys his time outside of work with his family and friends, preferably fishing, camping, or riding his motorcycle.

Joshua Davis
Home Inspector

Josh has been part of The Mills Team as an inspector for over 10 years. In that time, he has completed over 2500 whole-house inspections. Prior to working for The Mills Team Josh worked as a builder of motor coaches and as a roofer. Josh’s sense of humor and clear communication always make customers feel at ease and enjoy the home inspection experience. Outside of work Josh enjoys coaching his sons in many different sports, spending time with his wife, playing music, and creating art.

John Miller
Home Inspector

John has been part of The Mills Team for four years. Before coming to The Mills Team, he worked a few years as a helicopter logger and, subsequently, about 15 years as a kitchen and bathroom remodel contractor and business owner, specializing in granite and tile installation. We sometimes refer to John as “Mr. Rogers” since he is probably the nicest and most considerate person you’ll ever meet! He has inspected over 1,000 homes for The Mills Team. Outside of work John loves spending time with his wife and five children, drumming, and mountain biking.

Kaitlin Martin
Office Manager

Kaitlin has been a member of The Mills Team for nearly three years. Her prior work includes customer service in both fast food and retail, and she most recently worked as a Lending Services Assistant at Knight Library on the University of Oregon campus. Having graduated from Northwest Christian University in 2019, Kaitlin is enjoying dedicating more of her spare time to the intersection of faith and creativity through writing; reading Historical Fiction; and exploring the Oregon coast with her mom, two melodramatic Jack Russell Terriers, and a goofy Chocolate Lab.

Carlton Mills
Home Inspector

Carlton is our Business Development Manager and a licensed Home Inspector. He joined The Mills Team in January of 2020 after working for just over two years at a restoration construction company. He was born in Canada but raised right here in the beautiful Willamette Valley, where he enjoys hiking, playing spike ball, and being outside with his family. Other interests include making music on a variety of instruments, and he is always excited to bust out some camp songs around the fire pit. Carlton is excited to grow in his experience and knowledge as an inspector and continue to serve his community.

Seth Davis
Home Inspector

Seth is a new addition to our team. He is following in his father’s and brother’s footsteps as a Home Inspector here at Pillar to Post.  Before joining our team, Seth spent many years in construction and custom countertops. His personable and likable personality puts smiles on our client’s faces. In addition to home inspecting, Seth and his wife work in property management as onsite property managers. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, sixteen-year-old daughter, 3 dogs, and all of his wonderful nephews. He loves camping, disc golf, mountain bike riding, rock/gemstone hunting, and new adventures.

Ben Stiehl
Home Inspector

With over 20 years of experience in residential construction and design, Ben brings a deep and practical understanding of homes to every inspection. He has worked as a licensed general contractor, custom home builder, and remodeling business owner, and has held key roles in both nonprofit and for-profit housing development companies including positions as a superintendent and program manager. Ben holds a bachelor’s degree in Housing Studies from Oregon State University, where he also taught computer drafting as a graduate student. Now a licensed home inspector and the newest member of the team, he is proud to bring his well-rounded background to help clients make informed decisions about their homes. Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, RVing, golfing, and tending to their 4-acre hobby farm.
